Looks awesome. The only concern I'd have about casting is it looks heavy... But probably with the right material, or if somehow it could be cast more hollow, that would work awesome.

Is it heavy right now due to the sculpting material, or can the arm support the weight?

Thanks fellas. It's about the same overall as the tentacles. You'd probably need the stand to pose them with outstretched arms.

When it's cast, filler can be added to make the piece lighter.

I've got one tentacle arm left to customise. If you like, you guys can decide what I make out of it. Plus I don't wanna swamp Jesse with stuff to cast when he's already so busy. I just hope folk buy enough to make it worthwhile for him.

Out of everything you've made, I like the scythe and crab claw arms the best. Really wanna see skinny taloned fingers too, but I know that's difficult to do.

Ok I made a back attachment, but I'll be honest, it's fucking shit. Had a bit of a problem getting the pack to fit over the harness and make the tentacles look like they were bursting through.

I'll post pics tomorrow. I think the Nemmy tentacles cast in SV flesh colour would be pretty awesome looking at them earlier.

That's gonna be hard as they're pretty thin. They look ok as is though.

I think I've finished the back piece, plus another head. I just retooled the Chalice of Kali. Looks really good. Pics tomorrow.

BTW ^^^^ that has a neck socket over one shoulder so you can have two headed ZV's. You could also combo it with the neck extensions.

the back thing looks pretty good...I think if you molded it to fit closer to the contours of his back, that would look better...maybe even sculpt some web gear straps to the outside of it to make it look like it burst thru harness...I like the balljoint there, clever idea...maybe add a tentacle on top of it when a head isn't in use?

You can't see it very well in the pics, but I did sculpt the torn webgear. Not very well mind, but should look ok when painted. I can't really put a head on for a display pic as it would break when I removed the head. I figured if folk don't like the extra neckpost, they can just snip it off.
Getting the contours right is tough going. I'm still chipping away at it but it takes time. It's not pushed all the way on in the pic. I'd say 75% of it is perfectly flush, just the bottom doesn't. I sculpted that part so it looks like rags, still got a bit more work to do there.

Put a piece of plastic wrap on the figures back before molding and shaping it right to his back with the peg sticking out of the back hole...this way you get PERFECT contours...that's how I made Frostbites fur harness...

Redid the back bit now. It fits flush perfectly along the sides and top, and I sculptd some rips and tears along the bottom. Just gonna add some fine detail to one corner and it's done.
