This month we selected “Desert Trek” by forum member Ctrl-Z.
Do you feel that desert heat on your face? Taste the gritty sand on your lips? Do you feel even a touch of pity for poor Helix and Mouse, the sun beating mercilessly on their heads as they cross the arid wastes with no guarantee of a cool drink at their destination?
What if I told you this shot was taken at the beach, not far from the water?
Sometimes the simplest setups are the most effective, and Ctrl-Z has certainly succeeded with this very cool (see what I did there?) photo. Congrats, Ctrl-Z!
