Well, he's using a SPAS-12, so we can deduce he's not the brightest bulb on Broadway. Robbing a Dairy Queen. Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

Contrary to what the movies would have you believe, the SPAS is a very poorly made and designed gun. If you shoot them they WILL break a component, eventually. They haven't been imported in decades, so parts are scarce and generally cannibalized from broken guns. Using the semi-auto function will accelerate it's limited working life, as the nylon buffer is supposed to be very fra-geel-ay.

Hell, a working SPAS-12 sells for more than you'd ever pull from robbing a Dairy Queen. :lmao:

Thanks Vindi! I need to work on explosions a bit more. It is kind of a pain out in the field.

Well the lighting is a tough one to work with. If I allow more light to show the figure it drowns out the clouds which was what I really wanted to get in the picture. Since we rarely have a cloudy day I am working on limited time to get a shot like that. I figure having the looming sky in the background kind of adds to the AR feel.

On sunny days I usually allow more light on the closer items depending on what I am trying to work with. I do need to figure a way to make explosions out in the sand when I am there. I am thinking a cast of one that I can just glue dirt or sand to for effects.

thought id contribute with a couple of my own .. still ery much new to taking pics at this scale .. more used to 1/6 ..
only have a samsung galaxy to shoot with so apologies for quality and lack of techical expertise !

i really enjoy taking out door pics .. highly tempted to start getting into scene building seeing some of the pics ye take ... also blown away by the heli shots !

Maybe get one of those white round reflective discs I see photographers use on beaches to brighten up the babes...to brighten up your toys...

I would ...be willing.. its a hunk of scratch for a wee fig but they are excellently done and buggered if I cant stop posing the wee sods!
