    Red Skull movie version

It bugs me that I have a red Hulk and Green Hulk that have vastly different styles of articulation than the World War Hulk, Thanos and Thing. They really don't look like they're from the same line.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Wasn't that why it took so long for the t-crotch to go away? It doesn't really make a whole lot of sense to have four different Marvel properties out with action figures in this scale, and all four of them have differnet articulation styles. Granted, there's...

Different designers across the different lines I gues. You'd think these, Joes and MU would just use the same construction though. I kind of understand why SW construction would be required to be different by Lucas Films.

I agree. It's no fun if he's not uber-nazi numero uno. The body is a better base than the RoC Destro body- that one was always too big to my eye. Crossbones was the muscle, RS is just evil. Skinny, but very very evil.

You're not? I don't like that he's got a solid torso, and I'd replave the head with a better looking skull. It's a good base at least.

Figured we should re-do the thread. I found it useful to motivate me to actually finish stuff!

yeah, I just wish they were bigger- even 1/32 is pretty small for those planes.

That'd be insanely cool. There's an aerodome in upstate NY near where my great uncle lives. They have some really cool birds there, all of which are apparently in flying condition. It's pretty cool. Next time I go I need to get some pics and bring them back.

I'd want a DH.9a "Ninak": http://www.hlj.com/product/WNG32007 or a Nieuport Ni-17. I think my favorite thing about the old kites are the colors. Won't ever seen anything quite like those anymore.

I thought it was funny, and you put a smiley in! :D

I agree. WWI used to be a pretty popular subject, especially for 1/72 modelers, but it seems to be fading. The old kites are still pretty popular. Pipe dream time: Most desired WWI aircraft in 1:18th?

    Red Baron

I know I am. WWI gets about as much love as the Crimean War in 1:18th. Actually, it's hard to find 1:32 model figures of that subject. I can only think of maybe ten figure sets of WWI stuff. Most are out of production. That's crazy when you look at the amount of airplane kits of the same era.

Oh, yeah. I do like the Tamiya white for model figure painting though. It brings out the fleshtone nicely and has a finer finish.
