    SFOD-D Task Force Ranger

Cool! Actually, for the time, that weapon is pretty good. That was before the big push to improve the weapons with optics. Anything added was strapped on top of the handle, rather than the current usage of purpose built rail systems. Funny, in that last picture the figure even facially...

    BBI Marine Force Recon

The lighting puts it somewhere between desert and woodland Marpat (universal Marpat?), but it's definitely solid work. Looks good!

    Marauder Inc. General Thread

MGS has always been a stand up operation to my knowledge. They’ve always been prompt and usually do throw you a bonus bone or two. That said, I haven’t bought from them in some time, so the recent upticks may be having some effect. I’d expect them to come through ultimately though.

AV-8B HarrierII plus LANTIRN enter pylon

I have an older Harrier model 1:48 kit, but I believe it has the gun pod and no center pylon. As I recall, that was a gun on one side, ammo on the other and small but long 45° fins protruding from each. I don't thank that's what you are looking for though.

Sounds like a bad night after taking in some Indian cuisine... :p

Looking for the "Crazy Tomcat Guy"

I don’t think it does (I’ve never opened the gear doors - they never seal back as good as on day one). Mine was new in the box as I recall, so I imagine it has the original gear on it. I’ve only had it hung up “flying” since.

Is that the one I ended up with?

Looking for the "Crazy Tomcat Guy"

Yeah, like I said, a lot of things would have to come together and be perfect for me to go there. It would have to be a near museum quality piece for sure... and my wife could never know... :p

Looking for the "Crazy Tomcat Guy"

Hmmmm, depends on how secret squirrel I could keep the amount from my wife. :p I would happily pay $200-$300 for a BBI quality (fully painted/detailed, durable) 'Hog with pilot and appropriate weaponry. That could ride up to $500 if it were somehow limited or otherwise super rare (assuming the...

Looking for the "Crazy Tomcat Guy"

As time passes and supply dries up, they enter museum level rarity. Remember, I mentioned a while back that I recognized a 21st Super Cobra at the National Museum of the Marine Corps. You gotta figure these could have huge value to those who have real world experience with them.

Looking for the "Crazy Tomcat Guy"

Yeah, I like the Harrier, but I couldn't justify paying the price either. I really only have one jet that would make me lose my price inhibitions. Well, maybe a couple, but only one I would have to own if it existed.

Looking for the "Crazy Tomcat Guy"

There's definitely not a lot of this scale model work being done right now, and maybe never. If it truly has dried up permanently, those who do want something so massive and glorious will have to pay a lot for it. Even at $1K, I'm sure that's cheaper than commissioning an individual scratch unit...

Looking for the "Crazy Tomcat Guy"

Yep, I've got my "major award" (thanks F1:18!) Spotcat hanging in my home office with the Hornet, Viper, Apache and Super Cobra. I don't know if it has faded or if I have just gotten used to it, but it really displays well, and the spots are hardly noticeable. Reboxing one would be an absolute...

    How about that...

Anybody still collecting SW on here?

Lol, looks... expensive... :troll: My kids really enjoyed building their own lightsabers at Hollywood Studios when we were down a couple years back. Everything is pricey, but Disney knows how to bring the fun. That's for sure.

Anybody still collecting SW on here?

I wonder how much of the insane prices lately by Hasbro is due to their huge losses from the TRU fold. This seems like it's even more than the usual greediness.
