    Takara Transformers

BC's head is the biggest problem for me. The ears aren't right, and the face takes up way too much room on his head and his eye-line sits way too high with a little short forehead. It's just not quite right. I've thought about modding him with a noggin from the new Siege Sideswipe, but I...

    Takara Transformers

I bought the new Badcube Sideswipe a few months back. It's nice. The chest gimmick is really clever to make it skinny in bot mode. It's look is very toony, modern engineering, and on paper has everything you could ask for. And side-by-side, I found myself far more interested in MP-12...

Anybody still collecting SW on here?

Hasbro getting into another scale, import price points. No thanks, this is where I bow out. Been nice collecting you, star wars. http://yakfaceforums.com/main/2019/02/05/rumor-report-move-over-photo-real-here-comes-hyperreal/

Which mean US retailers will put him up for $150. For Bumblebee. That's insane. If they make the car more like the penny-racer, I fear it'll be just a shellformer with a ton of faux parts in bot mode with a volkswagen-sized backpack.

If it's not OT and fully articulated, I'm not buying. Full stop. If that means my collection is about finished, so be it, I have plenty.

    Marvel Legends

I have about a dozen of those that I bought on clearance for customs. There is a shirtless ironfist that's on a slender Spider-Man buck, but he does have pants. Also note, the Logan figures are substantially shorter than most ML (as they should be) so making a Weapon X out of something else...

Yeah, the MOTU guys are obvious pickups, and I suspect Mulder will be popular to many groups just b/c of the suit and all the possibilities that go with it. Turtles and aliens are hard passes.

Yeah, I haven't seen the last three bay-films... two was enough. But BB looked intriguing. I'll definitely watch it when it hits streaming.

If Teela were't 1000% better, I'd have skipped it too.

I've heard MS is really light, but I don't expect to have him in-hand for another week or two... IF he managed to get far enough along before CNY kneecapped the chinese postal service.

I haven't opened them, but they look like pretty standard faire CoD figures. I like the helmets quite a bit, and the little mortar accessory is cool. Nothing earth shattering, but since it's really the first villain pack ever, it's certainly worth picking up. And if you're into WWII and need...

K-Tiger , I just found a single-pack Teela in the wild on clearance for a buck. It's yours if you want it. The face isn't as good as the 5-pack, but it's above average for the single-pack.

Hit one more WM today on my lunch hour, and found two more MAA as well as three Terminators on clearance for $1 (he's worth that much for the vest). But most importantly, I found the Nazi troop packs for the first time. Bought both of them they had.

Had a Dr appointment, so I hit four WM's this morning on my way back to work. The first two had MOTU 5-packs and Windraiders but no heroes. Stores 2 & 3 had remnants of heroes w4, just Assassin's Creed and God of War that nobody wants, just to tease me that the good ones were long gone. BUT...

Anybody still collecting SW on here?

Considering Hasbro has the master AF license to most everything "Disney" now, it's hard to imagine them switching to anyone else, especially considering how miserable Mattel seems to be at selling action figures. And it's not like JP or Bandai could handle the volume of design work or...

Anybody still collecting SW on here?

My kids like SW and enjoy the films, but they are pretty maxed out on SW toys and don't ever ask for them anymore. I haven't bought much from the franchise in years, except the occasional OT Black Series 6" figure. Supposedly there are a few 4" OT vintage card figures scheduled for this year...

Anybody still collecting SW on here?

I question how many hardcore fans there are dedicated to 5 PoA just because that's how they were made in '77. No Joe fans are clamoring for o-rings to make a comeback (you know, if they made joe figures at all), nor do I think TF fans are dying for G1 bricks with 2 PoA to return to shelves...

    Takara Transformers

I actually like the head sculpt on TE-01 better, but I hate that it's broken up by the weird panel lines on top. And the white paint is unacceptable. I'm hoping that TE does a second run with silver face/legs, and I might be tempted to grab that and fill the lines in the head. I also might...

    Takara Transformers

Yeah, I finally broke down last night after watching some reviews and ordered MS-01 from show.z. I came to the conclusion that there were just too many things about TE-01 that I couldn't get over. The flip-top head, the squatty square grille, the thigh gap, and the white paint being chief...

$8... for 5 PoA figures in an ugly cartoony style.... of characters I've literally never heard of before this moment. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. At some point I'm going to have to admit that I'm old and that these are not aimed at me or my demographic anymore. But damn, it feels like...
