Ha, I didn't know we had trekkies in our midst! Set phasers to "boredom". And there's a reason no man has gone there before... because he heard on good authority that it was f#$%ing lame. Brick figures.... please say you aren't counting Kreo-Trek as your benchmark, or those weird minimates...

Yeah, I didn't catch that b/c I don't give two shakes about Trek. I'm a SW snob, and Gene Roddenberry's followers can pound sand. That being said, I'm interested in some of these sets, as some of the red-shirts have very usable nondescript, maskless noggins.

Haven't seen that. How are they different from the single packs?

I bought my son the Portal 2 Dimensions set just because he's very into portal (we don't even own the dimensions game). I had to buy hundreds of grey/white/black 2x2 smooth tiles just so he could design his own "test chambers". It's my own fault. For his birthday last year, I customized for...

If they use CoD body construction, I'll be elated. I don't care about Halo figures, but the more compatible and varied body parts for customs the better. Current Halo figures suck, with their tiny arms, short torsos, and skinny legs with huge boots. Any transition to more CoD style...

It's like a team of scientists sat in a room with NSA data-gathering computers and tried to come up with a set of figures that I would actually have less-than-zero interest in. It's mathematically challenging, but I think their hard work has paid off. If someone gave me this set, I'm not sure...

I've been eyeballing it on amazon, as most of the other new stuff sold out pretty quickly (to be restocked, no doubt), but I just can't pull the trigger yet. I like it, but i'm going to wait for someone to run a sale. It's a pretty piece, without a doubt.

I haven't built half of them! My son builds them usually but he's been sick for several days... still have to finish the last of my CoD Joes... not enough hours in the day :)

The heads are too small, made of rigid plastic, and they aren't removable. They're basically fragile plastic chess pieces. Complete garbage. The sets however are cool as hell. A bit more challenging to build than lego or mega, but they do pack the realism. But I toss the figures in the junk...

I'm putting the two prisons together. Might not look 100% cohesive, but screw that. They're 1.5" figures.

Basically no articulation, really fragile and skinny. TWD figures are completely worthless.

I think they'll look fine with the sets, but TWD figures are pure crap.

I have that set. It's pretty nice base-wise. It's got two sections with a big hinge in the middle such that it kinda folds up, a la castle greyskull. Obviously not THAT big only being 500 pcs, but you get the idea. With mutable sets, you could ditch the dome and the railing and build generic...

Yeah, that little sniper tower is new too. The backwards hat is a new sculpt.... it's got Chris Kyle written all over it. I'll definitely pick that one up.

I've got the new humvee, but I haven't built it yet. Love the new style helmet on that middle guy.

Nice. I have the harrier but haven't built it yet. What's your impression of the hovercraft? That's the only substantial CoD set that I haven't purchased yet.

FYI, some of the new CoD and Halo sets shown at Toyfair are now in-stock at Amazon. Picked up a few for my ongoing CoD customization project. The swiftboat and new green hummer look great. Just wish all the new ones were already out.

It's funny, I can tolerate more deviation from the original stories when it's done well. When it's poorly written, acted, or produced, the comics continuity problems are magnified 10x. Often I feel bad, like my nerd card is going to be revoked. Had you told me as a kid that we'd have a...

I plan to watch DD. I've PlayOn'd both seasons to watch at my leisure. It's finding the time. I plan to check out Jessica Jones too, as I really enjoyed Bendis's Alias title.... 15 years ago (damn). But I cannot stand Arrow, Flash, Gotham, Lucifer, Constantine, Agents of SHIELD, Agent...

Yeah, I'm excited about that. Haven't watched DD yet. I hear it's really good, but I struggle to get excited about that character. He just historically doesn't do it for me, but I plan to try it. But the Punisher is one of my favs. I'll be all over that. As a huge comic nerd, it's odd...
