ok cool. I've just never tried that before, and while I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do yet, it seems like a much better way of getting around painting joints and such.

I know this is probably a stupid question, but is there anything special to know about dyeing action figures? Particular brands of dye? Special techniques? Cautionary tales? Is it as simple as buying some RIT and following the instructions?

It's really bad when Molten Man is the most interesting figure in the wave... But I have to admit, if that "Spider-Man UK" is the Spidey / Captain Britain mashup from Spiderverse, I'll be intrigued.

They're doing 6" ML for the movie too, and those don't look half bad. They're more Cap and IM, like we don't have enough, but at least they're pretty nice figures.

Kaine Scarlet Spider is the only one of that whole bunch that I really want to own. I know marvel/hasbro wants to push Avengers down our throats, but these really need to be born naturally out of demand and good stories, not from some corporate mandate to put out characters no one gives two...

Being an old married-with-kids adult, I don't really play with my toys. Most all are for display or custom building. So in that regard, nostalgia is arguably the #1 reason I have so many damn toys. It's not like I'm crawling around in the floor going "pew-pew-pew!" I have lots of grand plans...

There is no way the 4" figures will be $20. That's an error. The price does not double in a year, while raw material and transportation fuel prices have cut in half during that same span. While I have no interest in figures from the new SW movies, my son does, and his birthday is coming up...
