    Marvel Legends 4 inch 2016

Usually there is some marketing aspect, either a cross sell to a multimedia project or other upcoming promotional push. I assume that's why we've gotten so many z-list Avengers' villains in recent years and little to no FF or X-Men stuff. But now, I can't even imagine who half of these guys...

    Marvel Legends 4 inch 2016

I consider myself a marvel guy, and I have no clue who half of these guys are. Either they are scraping the bottom of the OHOTMU barrel, or they are intentionally pushing z-list characters due to some upcoming media appearances or marketing bullshit. My tinfoil hat says that it clearly has...

Kevin Feige Will Now Report Directly to the Mouse

I think it's more of a statement that Ike is a lousy middleman. It's the strange consequence of the derivative material (the movies) being a financial juggernaut compared to the source material (the comics). As a comic fan, I hate the tail wagging the dog, but this feels like Ike being told...

Has anyone ordered from Onyxphoenix recently?

I've ordered several times without incident (the last being in '13), but it's always pretty slow. Last time was about a 6 month wait. But I always got my stuff eventually. His times and customer service are on par with brokenarrow, but he seems far nicer than Alyosha. Bottom line...

Kevin Feige Will Now Report Directly to the Mouse

Ike is a notorious SOB, so hopefully this will remove his incentive to blacklist the X-Men (because Fox has the movie rights). Maybe he can focus on comics and let the movies and licensing be handled by competent, rational people.... you know rather than vindictive tightwad with a small dick...

    Marvel Infinite 2015

At least Emma can find a home on my Astonishing X-Men shelf, but Juggerlossus... there's no room for that nonsense. But I will buy him anyway. Le sigh.

    Marvel Infinite 2015

It's just Colossus wielding the crystal that gives Juggernaut his powers. So comic fans call him Juggerlossus. However, in his few brief appearances, I don't recall him being mismatched like that. I'm hoping that it's the lighting or some kind of proto. However, I'm not even sure why I care...

    Marvel Infinite 2015

I feel like that wave is taking forever to drop. It doesn't help that they've been teasing Emma and Juggerlossus for nearly three years...

    Lego Stop-Motion

My son (age 8) spent considerable time making a stop-motion animation "movie" this summer. Actually, he wanted to go to stop-motion camp (yes, it exists), and I explained that we could do that better at home (you know, because the idea of melding photography and expensive software I don't know...

G.I. Kre-O, Kre-O, MegaBloks CoD and LEGO discussions

On saturday, I bought a small COD set (one guy, little archway & building rubble, sandbags, etc) at Walgreens, normally $12.99, clearanced at 90% off. They only had one left, but it was $1.29 for a 79pc set! Unbelievable.

Kroger still has nothing but the Cap/IM/GrimReaper/Hyperion wave. It's been the same for a year! At least Target got the Beast/Sandman wave, even if it is warming.... but that's due to the $13 pricetag as much as the characters. Yeah, if not for HTS, I would have no Shanna(s).

Hope you aren't a Bandai fan...

Now distributed by Diamond. They are the "middle man" your father warned you about. Incompetent and greedy. Don't expect to get anything from Bandai at mass market, and don't expect to get it from anyone else except at considerable markup. Doh! Diamond Appointed Master Distributor For...

G.I. Kre-O, Kre-O, MegaBloks CoD and LEGO discussions

Mostly 4 & 5, but occasionally some threes still around. Whatcha looking for? If you live near a major metro area and have a Lego store, they had them for $2 a month or so ago.

HTS is still at $10, and they've been pretty good about getting new waves in recently. I bought a slew of Shanna's with a code for $8 each about a month ago.

    Marvel Infinite 2015

I can think of very few high-profile Marvel characters that interest me less than Deadpool. He embodies everything I hate about 90's comics: pouches, giant Liefeldian guns, overt vulgar "humor", and amped-up invincibility... to the extreme! He seems to appeal most to the LCDs of our hobby, and...

    Marvel Infinite 2015

Not bad. I'd have preferred something with a tie, a different color, and some double knees... but it's enough different from Prof X to be useful nonetheless.

    Marvel Infinite 2015

I assume Chameleon is going to use the Prof X mold, and that will be awesome. It would be nice if it was black, and that way all our executives and G-Men wouldn't be dressed the same.

    Marvel Infinite 2015

I call bullshit, if for no other reason than SW Black 4" figures have more articulation than current MU/MI figures at the same price point. And, oddly enough, while prices have skyrocketed at retailers, HTS still lists all new MU figures at 9.99... None of that makes any sense. And of...
