I have a couple of them, but I have yet to crack the cellophane.
I assume that it'll work well since the true 1:18th scale cars are a bit small for Joe figures. But that's merely my assumption. I'd be curious if anyone knows the answer to this as well.

I'm sure they'll fit inside better, but they would look better next to the 1:18 versions

True, but I don't think anyone expects a 1:16 vehicle to look right next to other 1:18 vehicles.
While I'm going to build one of these kits (because they are cool without figures even), I suspect I'll end up gutting and mangling some 1:18th cars so that the figs fit for a full DoH setup. It's not like they make other usable models in 1:16th, so that's really the only option.

There's a 1:15 BttF Delorean...so at the very least those two would look good together...and isn't most or all Bruder stuff 1:16?

The new version of KITT is also 1:15. Good luck finding a figure that looks proper in that thing.
I want the 1:18th KITT, but man it's gotten crazy pricey...wish I had known about it when it was first released
I have a few 1:18 chargers....as well as several other 1:18th cars. I've gutted one to fit figures but there's no way I'm gutting all of my collection.

I cracked, I bought the 1:16th scale street charger. Most of the reviews I read online saidthe Dukes version was pretty hacked.
Next to the door he looks pretty good...but then I imagine him bent over the hood working on the engine and it seems like it may be a bit large
I think photographed at the right angle it will work well enough. The hood on the 1:1 scale version is enormous as well. He is a big figure though.
