This building is one of six, that I will be making for a dio set/playset. It will give me something me and my boys can both play with. The building will be on a 2' x 4' piece of plywood which will be set up as a T intersection, with sidewalks. The building was made using 5/8" plywood, some pieces of styrofoam and it was coated sheet rock joint compound. Just need to figure out how to make doors and windows and other accessories. I will update it with new pictures as I get more work on it done. Comments and criticques are welcome. Thanks for looking. (p.s. ignore my junkie garage, I really need to clean it out, lol.)

Just added some new pictures further down in the thread.

Nice! Fuckin A nice! The debris is awesome, well done. Looks so natural. I find it hard to make something look destroyed and have it be natural looking and not planned looking. You nailed it.

Wow! Moving right along!

Only suggestion I can make is to maybe make the destroyed edges of the building slightly more jagged and less rounded/smooth...

Thanks for the comments guys, still got 4 more buildings to make. Hopefully I can get them done this week. With the debris/rubble its made using the leftover plaster of paris I used for the sidewalk and road along with some balsa wood. I was able to make it grey by adding black ink to the water before mixing the plaster. I just broke up the dried plaster that I didnt use to make the debris.

Eddie, any suggestions on how to make the destroyed edges appear rough? The building isn't finished so if I need to add something I can.

Great time saver!

It's foam you're using right? Just break pieces of the edge off with your fingers is what I'd do.

Actually most of the building is made of plywood. Just interior broken walls and trim on the roof are foam, the rest is wood.

Hopefully I have some updates for you guys with my battle scarred town. Haven't had much time to work on it. Been busy working extra shifts and going to training exercises. Need some time over to get it done.
