so they have deleted ppls neg comments about art work on FB and this is what they had to say
The GI Joe Collectors' Club has addressed criticism about the GI Joe Figure Subscription Service(FSS), with a post on Facebook:
There has been a lot of "controversy" over the art for the FSS. Some like it and some HATE it. A lot!
We thought it might be fun to show some of the reference the digital artist was given. He was asked to rework them as much original art as possible to make the FSS carded figure art as retro, nostalgic and consistent to each other as could be done in a very tight time frame. We think he did a pretty good job overall. Check out where he began. It looks like A LOT of work to get where he got to starting from these!

Maybe they should have planned better and either did all that sooner than later or at least offered bagged figures so people didn't have to get the carded stuff. And the person that digitally reworked those images didn't really have to do too much work, did he? I mean, the stuff was already made so all he had to do was spruce it up a bit. I'm sure Rex could have done that better and faster with his d!ck in his hand the whole time.
