This is one of few Cobra troopers that I am working on at the moment. I am want them to look more "real world" military style. EELs are supposed to be Cobra's version of SEALS, so I figured I would make an EEL doing land based ops. He is the first of several EELS I am going to make. I did some sculpting on the helmet for the side rails, not the best, but a good first try. Let me know what you guys think.

I also included a few WIP pictures and also a couple of higher resolution pics of him as well, in the thumbnails.

Parts Recipe:

Head: POC Jungle Viper
Torso: DG Cobra Trooper
Arms: Ret. Flint
Hands: Ret. Flint
Legs: DG Cobra Trooper
Feet: DG Cobra Trooper

Weapons: Modifed Hasbro
Helmet/NVG/Goggles: Modified ParaViper/BBI/ROC Ninja Viper
Vest: POC Viper w/BBI Fodder

Looks good. For me personally, I don't see EEL though. I know they are SEAL equivalents but I see them as specialized divers, and that's why Cobra has Vipers. Still, it's a bad ass modern military Cobra soldier!

OOOH! Snappy!
I like to see the Eels out of water from time to time, although it is incredibly hard to divorce them from their usual design motif.

Thanks guys for all the comments, I really enjoyed making these guys especially the EEL Assaulter. I wish I knew how to cast heads and gear. I could use several of his heads and tac vests.
