Anyone know what the bag was that MClane carries for most of the movie?

I don't have the movie myself and google searches don't really help.

Just a manbag. Kind of like a modern (well, modern then) version of Indiana Jones' satchel.

Making one for a custom shouldn't be difficult.

yup. 34 minute mark of the movie, the fight starts, he kills guy and takes bag. He pockets a zippo, 2 magazines, and the walkie talkie.

Thanks for the help everyone, and for the caps Med. I don't have anything like that factory made in my parts bin, it's either an Indiana Jones satchel (to small), or that duffel bag that came with that one Zartan (too big).

Is there a figure out there that comes with anything close? I could probably sculpt one if push came to shove but that kinda takes away some of the fun.

Tunnel Rat and at least one SE came with something like this:

That's about the same size as an Indy satchel..it ends up looking like a purse.

Might also be too big, but you could try the ARAH Hit n Run bag:

Looks too cylindrical?

What about the one that came with 25th beachhead? It was meant to hold the magazines but it may be a little bigger than the indy one.

Possible. Isn't it divided into sections?

Indy satchel for scale. Quite a bit of work on either one of these, but you don't seem to shy away from that on customs.

Where you least expect it
If your adventurous, you can use a black bread tie for a strap & tie it to a folded piece of cloth or other appropiate gament.

I've used bread ties for
attaching injustice Wonder Woman's custom shield
a custom tie for peguin
belts
wips

That's an idear.

I've got a custom on the table that needed an unusual pouch, and there was certainly no rendition in 1:18. So I took your typical brown paper hand towel and made one. You could probably cover a square hunk of plastic with the towel and paint. You'd be surprised how well it might work.

K, Videoviper, thanks for the suggestions, I might try making one, maybe out of scullpey or that new-fangled hockey tape.

Dre, Slay, (I made a rhyme!) any idea which figure that came from? I see the clone trooper helm but there's only a metric ton of CT figures to go through.

Also, any pictures of it on a figure? Just so I can get an idea of how it looks on a body.
