Yup, they rigged those Pumas to look like Hind As. Hell, tell that to people and they might get behind the A model.

Hmmm could be interesting with the "A" model.. though I'd still prefer the Hind-D.

Or a Mi-8!!!

I was thinking about doing the same with that fiberglass shell but I then realized I don't have that much time to scratchbuild all of that.

If it wasn't for the fact most Joe fans are tight wads, you could sell it to them as a "realistic Tomahawk"

Well I already have way too much on my plate now but for $80 I went ahead and got the shell.

Let us see how this thing looks close up.

Well I recieved the Helo kit ( Hind ) and to my dismay it is a vacuform kit.

So I am almost sure that it can not be used for the potential 1/18th Hind build.

Essentially $80 pizzed away.

But it it big and impressive.

Just not 1/18th scale.

I wonder if that's the one I was looking at a year ago. I couldn't get a straight answer on scale.

How big is it?

I did not measure but it is pretty close to being the same size as a Pavehawk.

When you get measurements on line or other sources it is hard to tell were they get there measurements.

Did they include the pitot tube or the length of the tail rotor blade ?

They never tell you.

I do have a 1/35 model that I can scale off of.

When I get the chance I will do just that.

I will keep you posted.

But it does look cool albeit a little small.
