As with the GL & Batman movie toys I will be skipping the entire line.

The Batman movie ones went straight to discount retailers like Marshalls/TJ Maxx. They generally do not get items until after big box retail tries to sell them. I can only speculate that someone thought not even to try to put them on the sales floor.

I do not like the raised shield at all.

How can this company continue to get away with selling figures with such poor articulation for so long?

Because apparently they have empirical data that children do NOT like articulation like collectors do.

Jesus H. Christ, it's like it's 1995 again.

Watching my nephews play with my joes, it's pretty much clutch them and bang them together. They don't pose or anything like that.

Good points...my nephews were over for thanksgiving playing with my toys (they were in heaven) and all they did was run them over with vehicles or mash them together in some kinda fighting style I've never seen before in my entire life...
