May Banner Contest

Ok, after the month long delay, it's time to start thinking about our next banner. The new logo is a bit larger and will need to be taken into consideration when setting up your dios and camera angles. As you can see, it requires a full 1/4 of the banner to be empty background space. Logo can be placed in any of the quadrants.

leave the logo off...that gets added later...but when you take photos or submit something, do keep in mind room for logo placement...

When taking pictures, think in 'widescreen' as the logo is widescreen, and most people submit photos in 4x3 or whatever. It will be cropped to the right size and the logo needs space like PCS showed above.

You need to put that shot with the helicopter landing and the guy running over to it KT. I think that one could be a major contender. I have something good planned though. Something "bloody" good.

Definitely gonna try this on an overcast day, as that makes for better "rotor spin" effect, at least in my personal experience.

and anyway, if someone doesnt produce a banner with hot naked figures in it, i'm voting for yer SE on the rocks entry...though i'd really like to see you do that in a banner friendly size so as not to lose the top and bottom of it...i'd prefer to see more added to the sides....
