These are supposedly on the backburner. At best they're Charlie (they insist on calling them Bravo models) repaints with new munition options. I'm sure as shit not paying HIGH eBay for a pair of XM157 rocket pods.

Nothing to see here. Move along, move along.

EDIT: Yup, they mention they're UH-1"B"s in the description.

I saw the post-script to the description, but it still seems odd to me that they are going to cost $80 more than the 174th chopper for a rehash.

Those XM157s are expensive new parts.

There better be more than a pair of new XM157s on that bitch.

No kidding. That's why I was hoping we were paying for a stretch to a "D" or "H" model.

I can't think of much of anything short of a new mold that would get me to pay $200. $200 for that old Charlie/Mike model and it better come with a box full of options:

But maybe we're wrong, maybe they do intend a Delta/Hotel and the literature isn't clear. I'm not holding out a lot of hope.

Nice. Wish they would rerelease the plain Jane version w/o the armament. Better yet revise the tool for a later version with the larger cabin.

You have my attention. I'm highly dubious about the accuracy of hard-mounted M134 in a Charlie model, but the fact that they actually did one in a Vietnam-era cradle is awesome. You're not gonna get a figure behind it, especially a PoC+ era Joe, but I digress. Props for the M158 pods and their new mounts. Look at that keyed end, looks like they've at least planned for Emerson flex mounts.

Hard to tell exactly what model this is, but the single window says it's definitely not one of the D variants.

Bravo or Charlie really doesn't matter. It's one of them, and the M134 is on a sagami mount. Plenty of photo evidence for that set up, as are hard mount M134s on long-body Deltas and Hotels.

It's all kinds of wrong (paint, numbering), but I still dig it. Just waiting for the boner-killing price tag.

6-8 new parts tacks a c-note onto the cost? I'll buy a $240 Harrier before I pay $200 for that Huey. :D

The M5 is a separate piece. At worst you'd have to fill 2-3 holes after pulling it.

It's easy to slick these gunships. Not really any point, though, as they're short bodies, with even more limitations because of figure/interior seating and scale discrepancies. At least they removed the seat this time.

It's not great, but at least it's not $200. If I can figure out a way to get those M134s mounted some other way, or mount them on my Joe Team gunship, I'll take one for what's left of the team.

I definatly like the m-134 door set up as well.

Wonder what the gun looks like with out the mount.

Maybe they COULD be copied and used as hard mounts.

I still can't find a Charlie with that M134 set up. I've found a USAF Papa model that uses it, and I thought I saw a Navy Seawolf bird with it, but I'm only finding that one with the 134 on a sagami.

Has this shown up anywhere else for preorder? I keep waiting to see if FlyingMule will carry it.

The ammo can on the XM93/XM93E1 should go almost floor-to-ceiling, could be wider, too. Also need to source some ejector chutes.

Did I mention there should be a rotary feed drum for the M5 in there as well?

I was so interested in the ammo can that I didn't even notice the M5 was missing.

The weathering is laughable even without the super glue.
