Kind of disappoint there's no Wang (heh, heh). I'd want him before "Bride 'o Lo Pan" Gracie Law.

Something just occurred to me. Why the hell aren't they doing The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension figures? That flick seems like EXACTLY the type of property they should be getting.

Buckaroo
John Warfin
John Bigboote
Perfect Tommy (the only Hong Kong Cavalier we'd probably get)
As many red Lectroids as they can stomach!
Jeff Goldblum in a cowboy costume!

They released images of the Star Trek OTS series. Uhura looks pretty decent.

The style is certainly not my preference and the Humans still look kinda bad. But they do have great character selection and I just pre-ordered a bunch through BBTS.

I keep pestering them about doing these in a modern 4" Legacy style. Hopefully once the "Retro" fad dies down they will see a market for modern sculpts and articulation and bring some of the better sellers out in that format as well.

If I'm lucky they cheaped out and all the element stones will be the same piece. That would mean I could get away with Zorn, Ruby and probably Plavalaguna, and just do a cheap RTV mold and cast her element stone.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: This would be a great accessory line at 1981 prices. Funny they don't want to do that retro aspect.

There are some great accessories going on here. I've got the rest of the Fifth Element figs on pre order and could get them cast once they get here if they end up being different.
$10 now is close to the amount from the late 70s early 80s

The real problem is that there is better quality figures for the same price or less and these look and feel like Dollar store knockoffs

So they said that they showed about 50% of the figures for this year...

These are the announced ones that have been shown at ToyFair

Tomorrowland
Fifth Element
Big Trouble in Little China
Scarface
Star Trek Classic - 2 waves
JAWS
Terminator 2
Boondock Saints
Breaking Bad
Gremlins

These are the ones yet to be shown
Aliens featuring a Queen!
Rocky Horror Picture Show
V for Vendetta
Munsters
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
E.T.
Big Lebowski
Fight Club

I see they're doing Count Orlok in those silly, cutesy vinyl figures they do. Really wouldn't mind seeing him in the ReAction line.

Yeah, I saw that too and had the same thought. He would be an ideal character to make in ReAction.

There were a bunch of Pope figures in the POP! and other similar styles and I asked about him but that was a no go.

Apparently Phoebe Cates has 86ed her Gremlins figure. I'd assume we won't be seeing that infamous red bikini in the Fast Times wave either.

I will grant you that. FTaRH figures are pretty pointless, especially with no Cates. No red bikini, no hot dog deep throat. Eh, maybe a Jennifer Jason Leigh in waitress uniform?

Who am I kidding, Spicoli, Brad and Mike will be it. Do a "short" wave like BTTF.

Yeah, the Gremlins are gonna be an even bigger ripoff than MU Puck or Rocket Raccoon.

Rather have real Tango and Cash figures. Same goes for Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man.

Thought of another "good" license for this line:

Mostly because I want a 3.75" Evil Ed. "Oh, you're so cool, Brewster! *hee hee hee*, I can't stand it!"

Since the heads are a little bigger than the bodies they actually look pretty decent on regular figures. Here are some customs I've seen around the web. These are not mine.

I ordered some extra Predators for some customs and discovered the "smiley" one has a separate piece that is it's neck peg and the inside of its mouth so once that is removed it works almost like a ball jointed head. A new paint job will do wonders for it.

I've got a Twilight Zone head on a Henry Jones torso, it's more or less the same thing. The problem is finding heads I can con myself out of $10 for.

True, but if the accessories have no use it's just a head. I lucked up with Bemis.
