I was so irritated to get a red Rumble Civic in the Alternators line... It wasn't a half-bad looking figure, either, but Rumble to me is always going to be blue. And yeah, the name "Rumble" makes tons of sense for someone with those pile-drivers. Did Frenzy even use them in the cartoon?

Well, Menasor will be smaller than Herc and Superion, probably around the size of Bruticus. That seems reasonable for a scale junkie like you.

The only oddball is Predaking (but that's nothing new). Historically in both G1 toys and media, he is the largest combiner... which is odd since the Predacons in theory should be the smallest based on their alt modes. But that MMC predaking looks like it will dwarf Herc. Not-Divebomb is 7.5 inches tall in bot mode...

Supposedly, MMC has said "Hercules will be looking up to Predaking"...pretty awesome...and though I have no interest in owning one, those figures are looking amazing I must say...

It's nowhere near accurate scale-wise, but neither was the G1 toy. PK was always depicted as the largest combiner, so it kinda makes sense from a TF continuity standpoint even if the scale is just as off as it ever was.

I can't wait, and I'm not even a big PK fan. I don't think I owned a single predacon as a kid.

Predaking is the only one I couldn't care less about his scale accuracy...not because I don't desire the figure(s), but because it's animal robots...any sense of realism has already been thrown out of the window on that one piece right there...even if they were in scale to real animals, for one, them being robots would take them right out of being in disguise, and two, the gigantic weapons mounted to them would raise red flags...

Meh. I was hoping we'd get a new Megatron first, but maybe after the Z-siblings? (I am excited to get more cars, though... And those make perfect sense!) I wonder why they didn't go ahead and announce Bluestreak? Or maybe they're skipping him to get to someone else first, to help space out Cons and Bots?

I shipped mine, I couldn't wait. I have been waiting on no character more than Soundwave second only to Megatron MP-05 (who I still want resized for MP-10's scale, grrr). I can't wait to get him!

I also have a block of stuff arriving in March, so I didn't want to wait 2 months to save $10 on shipping. I've got several Joe items and the cassettes arriving then, and I had Red Alert and a few other things sitting in my POL so it was worth it to go ahead and ship, anyways.

My current pile is up over $600 with Soundwave, Red Alert and a bunch of other stuff (Shao Kahn playset, the first two TFC Superion figures, some new Kre-O TFs -- I just like Kreons :) --, Gordon Freeman from HL, etc...) But I think I'm going to wait on the cassettes before I ship. I don't have time to get all that stuff out and play with it right now anyway.

I have the Joe 3-packs (with "Ultimate" Firefly) and a few other Joes still to come in March, along with the cassettes, so I'll have a decent POL by then anyways.

I am too impatient for Soundwave. I didn't mind waiting on Red Alert, but the second SW was in and I could ship my POL, I did.

BTW, what the hell is with BBTS's "in the warehouse" delay? How goddamn long does it take to toss four items in a giant box without proper bubble wrap and then ship it?

I assume their limb modes will be very similar to the two Bruticus limbs they made a few years ago. Herc was awesome, but between the flood of MPs, and now three 3P combiners coming at the same time this year... ALL of my disposable income is going to robots.

Of course, Joe is producing nothing, SW killed the vintage line, MOTU is trying to commit suicide daily, Mattel just stopped making any DC figures, and Big-H puts out one wave a year of MU and ML. I guess there was a void anyway. TFC, MMC, and FP... here! take all my money! my children can eat top-ramen!

So how big will the Stunticons be? I think they're my second-favorite team behind Devastator. I really like Bruticus, but the concept of the Stunticons (and they're also a more sensible scale to each other) just works better for me...

They are the same height as the Insecticons that came out 2011...there's a pic floating around of the comparison somewhere...

PLUS FP has said they'll be $50 each for the limbs and $80 for Motormaster...so pretty cheap compared to the other combiners...they'll come in two packs apparently...
