Every time I see an SS86 constructicon at the store, I have to convince myself that... "NO, I DON'T COLLECT CHUG... I have plenty of Devastators already"... because they just look like good, fun, toony transformers. When he was younger, my son collected / played with Combiner Wars era TFs, and while they weren't bad, I always felt like they were just a bit off of what my 80s brain would have wanted.

These SS86 versions look like they are faithfully-modeled after the cartoon, they aren't too big or too small, and they don't have a bunch of compromising gimmicks... just good toys. Makes you wonder why all Hasbro TFs aren't done like that.

Just looked as I was unsure.
Basic arm wrist movement
I assume the head can turn as I saw one picture of this thing full disassembled
Some knee but not at the hip
Waste can turn.

My point is it’s a lot more plastic than the SW mini rig, & I’ve just gotten tired of the usual excuses for why this shit costs so much.

Yeah, we definitely get spoiled by GI Joe CS, with all the variety of figs with a fair assortment of accessories (and vehicles). SW BS and ML generally get stuck paying the same or more for less.
