What's up with JSI?

What's their story? I haven't heard any news from them in a while. They're as quiet as No-Go toys. The last thing I remember hearing was something about some thefts in China. Did that seriously knock them out of the market?

Apparently they just came out of hiding a few days ago and are working on a project with Merit International that involves the Huey UH-1B. Too bad it wasn't the UH-1D thru H.

Correct, but now it seems we just found out whose going to mass produce it for Merit. And according to Aviatornut on it's Facebook site it will be priced around $100.00. They expected to release it this month but I guess that's not happening.

Oh ok, glad to hear they still exist. I don't have a Huey, but hopefully I'll have enough money next year to get one. It will probably be the most expensive 1/18 thing I'll get outside of the DAK Flak.

Didn't 21st century toys make a prototype, or sculpt of things like the Sheridan and the Vietnam era PT boat? I want those things! Do you guys think JSI/Merritt have access to that stuff? They should also make a Sherman with a 76 mm long barrel cannon and a late war turret.

They prototyped the 551 and PBR (just like the A-10), but that's all they did. I agree, I'd love to see those released, but they weren't tooled up.

Back around '99 they did an F-15E in green and grey "Lizard" pattern. The Singaporeans had their F-15SGs in a scheme similar to our Vietnam era Airforce camo.

Never heard of one of ours with a predominately green pattern.
