It's a shame they don't release the PLA solider molds outside of China. They're a step up from the standard PTE variations.

It's definitely painted like a Rott. Looks like the tail curls up as opposed to a Rott's straight tail (when they aren't docked).

Male Rotts DO get that big, though.

oh man, I want two or three of those sets with the bed, locker, table, and chairs. Those figures in all the sets are so much better than the crap shoveled to the states. Even their weapons look like they're better made considering that they aren't twisted, bent, and broken.

I've seen a couple of these sets come up on ebay (ws_toys) listed as "Puzzle Animation" World Peacekeepers.
That was several months ago though, and I haven't seen them since.

Stupid me, I didn't grab them when I had the chance.

Yea, I've seen the Puzzle Animation sets also. They popped up briefly. It was just the smaller sets that I had seen. Nothing of the larger ones.

i love those hats, rot and boats. would be cool if we get them in the us, but everytime these things pop up at big lots, i never have money.

Those boats would be great customs for Vietnam Navy Seal craft if painted black with some weathering with one engine. Just heard from WS Toys. They won't be stocking these so get in on the group buy with Melvin and Major Blood!!

Why are the figures so much better in these sets. is it an illusion that they look slimmer and sleeker? Also, do these guys have chinese heads. I cant tell in the pics. that would be most awesome if any looked chinese.

They all do, these are Chinese troops for their domestic market.


We get the same lousy Anglo sculpts that we've been getting for the past 10 years.

Melvin emailed me a bunch of pics, which included a white Type 92 APC with a different turret, as well as the Blackhawk moulded in olive green. I admit, I find them extremely tempting.

I didn't see those pictures yet. I'd like to see the Type 92. The black hawk would be pretty nice in the green. Although, it may be more cost effective to paint a black one. I'm more interested in the things we won't see here like that boat, the set with the Rotty and even the locker set just because it is a good one.
