Now that we have made ourselves into 2014, we've seen some good and not so good releases this year. But in your opinion, what was your absolute favorite 10 figures of the past year? Gijoe, Transformers, Star Wars, whatever. It's all about you! Only stipulation is it had to be released this year.

Technically the black DG trooper is from 2012. I really like that sculpt though so the blue makes my 2013 list.

I don't know if I have 10 Joes that really blew me away… A lot of them were good like Kwinn but so lackluster after waiting on them for 2-3 years that I was underwhelmed when I got them…

Which is why I said to include everything. Joe wise we were let down, but imports and SW Black thrived.

8. Herc - Didn't want to like him but everything I do with him is really F'd up
9. Notice no Star Wars figures as any ones I would have listed came out before 2013
10. Injustice Wonder Woman, not because she is a great figure, my wife likes WW, and for a brief moment in 2013 she didn't judge me horribly for having an action figure collection

Hmm, of the figures I actually managed to acquire?


#1 with a bullet has to be MU Heracles. Nothing else even stands out after him. Distribution may have saved him from having to face stiffer (heh heh) competition.

Honorable mention:
MU Professor Xavier. Almost worth that loooooooooong wait. With a couple of mods he's a great figure.
