Comics: Atomic Robo Vol. 1

Art

Scott Wegener does the art chores on the main book. His art is rougher here than it will appear in later volumes, but that stops mattering after a few pages. He works in a cartoony style that works very well for the subject matter.

There are a number of back-up stories and pin-ups of Atomic Robo by a variety of different artists that are reprinted at the back of the book as well.

Availability

Atomic Robo, volume 1 was out of print for a time, but has recently been reprinted. You should be able to find it or order it at your local comic book shop, Amazon, or other booksellers.

There is some (usually comedic) violence and the occasional curse word (bastard, damn) – otherwise, it’s a very family-friendly book.
