I have built dios, custom vehicles and figures...though don't feel I am anything special at any of them. :D Lots of people here with much more skill than I have!

Another idea. Do you have access to the A-Team movie line headsculpts? I'd love to make my own PoC inspired versions. :D

Gone Baby, Gone
K-Tiger just posted some smarmy comment at HT about holsters, and it just occurred to me... Anything to replace those useless, gigantic holsters on 25th Wild Bill? Those things are absurd.

What'd I'd love is something softer, similar to the POC Snake Eyes holster that's a bit more rubbery, and holds the pistol tightly. Is there any existing holster that can be modded for that?

Replacing the 25th Duke/Flint holster (so that it pegs in with the screw hole) would be a secondary "AWESOME!" if you could do it, but not as much a priority. Perhaps something with a drop-leg strap that can be glued up the outside and trimmed to fit?

I'm sure I could mod something and cast it. Remind me after joecon, I'm sure I'll have some time by then.

Bbi's police holsters are the best. Demonstrable fact of life. I actually tried wiring heat-shrink, and that would work awesome if the gun you're molding is made out of a harder plastic. I should really do more testing on that theory.

Weren't those police figs from the late 90's? I remember buying cases of them direct from bbi back in the day.

Early '00s.

With the factory pistol (though not the one this figure came with) head on and in profile:

And with a 1911, I want to say a Spylounge one.

Those are nice! I'd buy a few! I like the idea of the drop down strap that can be cut off to length too!

Thanks, KT! Definitely one of the best 1:18 holsters. I can't stand how most are bulky and awkward looking at this scale.

Not sure how Bbi managed it. A lot of the problem is that Hasbro can't get scale down pat. The pistols tend to be pretty big.

Super's SE's could probably be shaved down to be more high speed-low drag, but you'll lose all the details.

Jesse,

I was wondering if you had ever cast up any of the gear from the Night Creeper figures? Specifically I am wondering about the chest armor, head and head gear.

I had thought about shaving the SE's holster down, but like you said, the detail would be lost and I'm also a little concerned with cutting all the way through since the plastic is thin.

Indeed, I don't know that the end result would be worth the risk/effort.

I should see what Hasbro guns will fit in the bbi holster.

I have a couple of the BBI holsters as loose parts. Here's what I have that might be good for casting.

Terminator John Connor gunbelt, OURWAR Squadleader tactical holster, First Avengers Captain America holster, BBI holster, me-made gunbelt w. ROC Elite Viper holster, double mag pouch, handcuff case and radio pouch.

I can cast those up in a couple weeks if you want.

Yeah, those look fantastic. There are very few holsters from the 25th figures and even POC that I like the way they fit. I don't know why they can't make them more like the POC Ultimate SE, where the holster is rubbery and fits firearms snugly and not some giant plastic trough that the pistol just spins around in.

Here is a canopy I just did for a HT member for his custom devil ray. Clear cast with a hint of red to give it that vintage look.

Sounds good. Maybe in couple weeks would be good. The parts will be ok after casting. No parts will be harmed in the molding process.

Hi Jesse,
I'd send them to you so everybody can buy them from you and enjoy them.
No prob.
Will the master parts still be useable after you take their mold?

Torsos are a coming. Ok so as everyone one knows I'm test casting torsos. Well I have may first one done and looks like I nailed it. I will
take pics and post them later.
I'm heading out to a local place people sell
toys and see if I can find any good figures to start casting torsos. Still need a little testing out but I'm pretty sure they're good.
Now arms and legs are next.

Any requests what torso should be done first.

Anyone in to 1:6 scale stuff I got some HT heads. Here is a Batman Begins head I just did. Plus a Halo kit for 1:6 scale figures if I get enough interest I will make them.
