Right now you get 26 results on eBay for 1:18 Helicopter.

26!!

And of those 26:

1 is a DINOCO "Cars" Helicopter
1 is AIRWOLF! (Sweet, but wow, old, Wow Jan Michael Vincent..)
7 are PTE or other cheap non-1:18th scale items

The rest are ridiculously high-priced Apache's, Huey's, Cobra's with a few Blackhawks and Little-Birds thrown in.

I miss the heady days of the 00's when 1:18 Helicopters were everywhere!

And that folks is why this place is quickly sliding towards the Darkside of Joe. Bravo Bradleys and M1a1s cannot support an entire board and the rest of the cool modern shit is well over the $100 mark when it can be found. Nuckin Futs I sayz.

The helos are easily the best vehicles out their for playability and display. They just look badass and fit with every line of figures.

Really wish that we could get another UH-1 release from JSI or something.

I pray everyday that a pre-order goes up for a JSI Century UH-1C.


I'd definitely keep an eye on Monkey Depot to see if MH-6s come back in for 30.

Well, i suppose technically that IS a form of prayer, though chickens are pretty low-end, and i usually have to feed small children to the hell-beast chained in the basement.

I would invade a small country for a Kiowa. Last one I was chasing on the Bay went over $100 plus shipping. So far, the well has been dry after that. Hell, I saw a PTE littlebird go for 60 bucks last week.

with those prices, it's time to find another seller gem that has a bunch of these tucked away somewhere in the boonies and buy them all so we can share the wealth here on the board.

Surely getting these birds cheap would be a nice draw for a raffle, unless like a certain person, doesn't even claim the damn thing.

The local comic shop has a Kiowa with broken main rotor shaft(it's glued so you really can't tell) that they have tagged as $150 so there are some redonkulous prices out there.

Airwolf? Now that's funny! I've never seen that before. I still hold hopes that I can score a Huey under $150 sometime. I think I have a Pave Hawk coming for $85 shipped if I hear back so the Huey would be about the only other thing I need for choppers. They are just much easier for me to work into a diorama then the jets but I imagine I'd figure a way.

Slapping the MMS on a Little Bird, for one. Not accurate, but pretty close.

Out of curiosity, just how cheap are we taking? Like looks like crap, is crap and not worth it - cheap; Low priced yet is decent and you can get some nice photos out of them - cheap?
