really? I really like this figure. It's got a cool head sculpt and makes for a decent "halo like trooper". I'm not saying I'm going to buy hundreds or anything but I do plan on picking up 3 or 4.

I think that's it, it's too Halo. I don't find anything particularly intersting about the head sculpt, none of the accessories (orange e-tool? Really?) are particularly outstanding, either.

The lower legs might be useful for a chick figure custom, but it's an all-around mediocre figure.


I'm finding less and less useful items in this line.

I like the "halo-ness" lol. I do agree that the orange tool will need to be painted.

Oh ya, it's got Mad Max/Road Warrior written all over it's face.

I can't stand the new weapons and accessories, feels like it's going back in time to the 90's/early 2000 with those.

There is so much potential for this figure. I love the Joe troop builders. Like Steel brigade. Can't wait.

I can honestly say there are zero must have figs in the new line for me. Will I pick up a couple? Maybe, depending on what they look like if/when I see them in person. But even the card art just screams a complete "meh" to me.

I'll have to find this guy a knew helmet. The fact that Hasbro wants to rip off Halo this bad is kind of annoying. On the other-hand, it's neat to have a Master Chief figure that's to scale with your GI Joes. Now if we could get aliens at that scale.

Technically he's not. MC and the other Spartans are 7' in their universe.

I keep hearing that but when I'm in the Isles and I put a Joe figure up next to a Halo figure I'm oblige to disagree. They just look too big.

That's because the McF Spartans aren't 1:18 scale. Joe Trooper would no more be correct in 1:18 as a Spartan than a McFarlane one would be.

Yeah, but I think I'd rather find a Bbi or 21st Para with the mohawk.

One the Trooper is sporting isn't a mohawk. I forget the proper name for it, but it's popular with Gyrenes.

i think the orange shovel is sweet, it reminds me of classic joe how they would use off the wall colors for the weapons and acc.
