Got one answer out of three.

1) With Renegades getting canceled and the short life span of the previous animations, have you considered making 1 shot straight to dvd films? Many fans enjoy the Marvel and DC releases that seem to come out every few months. A GI JOE series would be a nice treat to the fans.

2) During the release of the Rise of Cobra movie figures, Hasbro produced some figures that weren't in the movie. Some, like Anthony “Flashâ€￾ Gambello were updates to older figures, while others, like Helix and Benchpress, were new characters that proved to be very popular and sought-after by collectors.

3) It seems on some of the 30th anniversary figures there has been a little “weatheringâ€￾ put on some figures. If this is the case, what brought on the decision to add a detail like that or is it just an error?

It's true some figures do have weathering effects. The goal was to pump up the realism on the figures and to give them a modern military feel.

Q1: Have you considered branching GI JOE out to popular video game franchises like Call of Duty? Kids are the focus for the growth of the line, over the last 10+ years kids are more interested in video games and the most popular games are Military Shooters like Call of Duty. Either Call of Duty characters into the Joe line or a Joe partnership with the franchise could increase kids awareness with GI JOE.

Q2: What is the future of the line after the Joe 2 movie line? Will we get another filler line like Pursuit of Cobra/30th anniversary or will Joe receive another "reboot"?

Q2 they won't answer. It's too far into the future. Q1 they might. I think there was a question about games during ROC. I'll have to dig. Really, it has to be about either the tooling processes, current items or changes in current product. They are making it tougher and tougher to want to ask anything really.

I am curious about what brought on the decision of SM. I think it would be a good one for this Q&A. I'm really curious if they decided on those sets because of the popularity of the latest convention figures.

I'm with you there KT. I know I could not dish out that loot for the set. Sadly though, if big H isn't considering it then it may be inevitability. It would have been a much better multi pack for online retail so people would not have to pay out the a$$ for the figures possibly. Maybe too many new molds that the line just isn't bringing in the money to support.
