This is my first review, Ill try and get as much info in as I can think of. If there is anything I miss I would be glad to go over and its a lil to brag about having 2 seemingly sought after figures :p
Weapons: Holy hell Hasbro they aint the cheap flimsy crap you gave WS. CB comes with an M4/203 combo slightly larger that what Joes come with. The grip is curved and larger than some Joes could grip, this does allow CB to hold it well though.
He also comes with 2 Tec-9's(or AB-10's in CA after the ban). Scale appears good but I dont know of any others in this scale to compare them to. The sculpt looks dead on for the one Ive handled. Fits very good in the left hand, in order for the right to grip it the index finger needs to be cut away from the others.
Vest: the vest has some detail molded to it. If you take it off the snaps can be a little difficult to get back together. The belt is part of the vest. Aside from the molded in pouches he also has a knife and the belt has ammo molded in.
Sculpt: Im not familiar enough with the MU figs to tell if its an all new sculpt. The torso looks similar to the one used for the movie Sabertooth from XMO. This guy is tall though. The mask is very well detailed and nicely sculpted. The knees are the same rubbery crap as some of the other figures but he stands well.
Articulation: Head is ball jointed. Has the ab crunch. Shoulders, elbows and wrist are standard articulation(no extra wrist movement). Has the wonky hips, thigh swivel, double pinned knees and standard ankles.
Paint Apps: Like any other fig look for sloppy apps before you buy. Having said that the paint apps on both are pretty good. The places where the apps arent quite as crisp are on the kneepads for the screwholes, the ammo on the belt and the handle on one of the knives.
Overall I would give this figure an 8.5 out of 10, the hips drop it down as the make him difficult to pose.

i want to get this guy too. my only wish thus far is that he came with a sniper rifle and had the cross bones on his tact vest. i think a two pack with him and cap america with a copy of the assasanation of capt america comic would be neat. good review soldier!!!

Pretty cool figure. It could work as a merc against Joes I think. Hopefully I'll find one or two of them in my searches for another enemy. Thanks for the review Jimbo. Pretty informative and gives plenty to work with in the Eddieism thread. ;)

I had no idea who the character was when I saw him on pegs but thought I could use him for my Range Viper Leader (Skullbuster) custom. :D

Thanks for the review Jim. I passed on him once but the next time I see him, I'm going to have to pick him up.

Well, I found Crossbones and Red Skull for $5.99, at Kroger of all places... so I couldn't pass them up. When the figures were first shown, I had originally planned to do much like Slaymaker and do a Skullbuster custom... but I think I'll have to find a second one for that. He looks like he'd be a great villain for Cap to fight, as well as Punisher, Daredevil, or other "street-level" Marvel heroes.

Thanks for the review. Just one request: Mo' pics, mofo! This is one of the few figures from the Cap line that interested me, and it was for customs, no less. He's a pretty cool looking "goon".

And yeah, Blood... Fuel for the Eddieism thread, no doubt.

I just found this guy today and bought him. He's only one per box so I snapped him up quick. The M204 still looks woefully undersized, I think some of the oversized weapons that come with the Chap Mei figures would suite him well.
