I was going to do this on my Facebook art page but FB has screwed the pooch and very few "fans" would actually see the post. Also, too much traffic on other sites along with random strangers making a thousand suggestions that have already been made by people like Krexx.

Anyways, I thought I'd open discussion on what head sculpts need to be made or updated. I'll try to make as many in my spare time as possible and they'll go up on my shapeways store when complete.

So what head sculpts do people need?

If people are seeking multiples of the same headsculpt, let me know before submitting an order as I can make a special 3D object that has 2-3 of the same head. This will save you $$$$

Requested

Rowan Atkinson from Blackadder Goes Forth, with an Action Force logo
Green means it's uploaded on my Shapeways shop
Head size (in millimeters) Width x Height x Depth
For comparison, the standard 30th Anniversary trooper is 11mm x 14mm x 13+mm

Since, there is shrinkage, I can't guarantee these measurements will be accurate in the final model.

We already discussed Nathan Drake from PS3 Uncharted, but figure I'd also add it here...maybe some others would be interested.

I'd also be really interested in seeing -

- Tom Selleck from Magnum PI (Footloose is as close as we have, but looks a little too old and the hair isn't right)

- Bo and Luke Duke

Jet Li is a good one.

I also would be interested in a Ving Rhames, he's been in enough Zombie movies now that I want his character likeness. lol.

Beat cops are something i have wanted for a while. I think the True Heroes ones are a little small.

Has anyone done Scoop? Maybe a modern video camera to go with him. That would be fricken killer!

You know what would be good? A better Ultimates Captain America head sculpt- the one Hasbro made is waaaayy too small. I don't think any of the ones from the movie line are any better, either.

sticking with Joe I'd like to see an IDW Cora commander head sculpt, both the old cc and the new, to go with that great krake head you did

I was planning on doing a modern DoH where they drive a new orange Charger and are PIs. Thought it would looks badass next to the 80's figs I have and old General Lee.

Do you have a decent pic of her when she's not anally raping Scarlet? I can only find one pic when I google and the rest is fan porn.

They just came out with a new highly detailed 1:18th GL, and they reissued the 1:16th model kit that would likely fit modern figures better. But I plan to customize a lot of the Hazzard car fleet as well.

So wait, they're making another 1:18th version?...how much better is it?

I always liked this one :D

It's waaaaaaay better (made by Autoworld), but also much more expensive. The wheels/tires look 100% better, and the interior and engine detail are on a different level. The rims on the older version are seriously off somehow. The new one has correct larger numbers as well, plus the whip CB antenna also.

EDIT: I just wish they'd put a CB in the interior!

Compare to the pics of the older version. That thing looks like shit!

And while we're at it, Bolo Yeung.

Does anyone know if there's a hairpiece that would work for this psylocke? The reason is her hair was always long and don't know if that would survive shipping. Plus, hair like that usually causes Shapeways to alter the alignment, resulting in a forehead resembling a beard.

damn dude, you use 2 different programs too. I thought learning one of them was difficult. lol.

For organic items, I just use hexagon to establish unit dimensions and alter poly count. Sculptris is a really easy program to learn because it really is like sculpting only with a mouse.

That one I tried to raise some of the features hoping it would be easier to paint. This is the only one that has the eyelashes marked as well because those are details that needed for a Jim Lee style.
