I'm from CA and in the town I was in(about 115,000 people) and there was atleast 5 joe colectors just in the town. I met 2 of them, one from an ebay purchase, and the other at the local IPMS(international plastic modelers society, plastic models are my other hobby) meeting. It's surprising who you meet and where. Volstate is just up about a mile from my house. I live in the new houses behind the kroger by big station camp blvd. There is also bad ash(from joecustoms) in nashville and somebody else who is up closer to me

Shit yeah! I missed a Joe head that I need to get. The old '70s black guy head with the light fro and beard. I want it for Colonel Courage! I'll have to keep track of that. I skipped the last one because of being on vacation, plus I also wanted to make sure I got my previous order in first before dumping another $70. I want to get those consoles this round, I need me some Cobra displays for dios and I don't wanna use the paper ones I made. Those are top-notch, but they're heavy! A lot of plastic goes into those things.
Can't wait to see the new stuff, and hopefully the Rock-Viper heads are in there. I need to get one more RV to make my 3-man team when the heads finally arrive.

Ugh, finally got around to attempting to cracking that torso, and it just messed it up. The flesh-colored plastic that they molded the single-carded version out of is a softer plastic than the usual torsos, and just mashed and screwed up the entire lower torso instead of cracking properly.
Ah crap, I forgot. I got home late as hell last night and didn't do anything but goof off for 20 minutes then hit the bed. I'll try and remember tonight, sorry about that.
I'd considered making a Metal Head, using the torso from POC Recondo... But the neck would need some major work. I may have to look into it again, as MH was a stupid character but one of the few "unique" guys from DiC that I wanted as a kid but never got. Most of mine were neon vipers that, for the most part, I couldn't care less about in 25th format.
I've split a lower torso 5 times. Once accidentally, and only twice successfully. You couldn't split the existing one as it is without ruining the sculpt anyway...
I have a spare torso of that very figure... Let me see tonight if I can split it...
So I got the GH and Cutter heads painted up... Damn, these were about the toughest heads to paint since Keel-Haul. I kind of wish they'd make the heads with hats separate as 2 pieces, because the eyes on GH were damn near impossible to paint. It took me literally 2 days to paint the heads because it was tough to get in there with the tight angle of the bill. I probably repainted the eyes like 10 times each!
That's an improvement. I actually just posted it on Eddie's wall about an hour ago. Haha.
The pink's a much better color, but I still wonder why she has a pink mohawk instead of a lighter pink?
