Gentlemen,

Feel free to discuss 1:18 scale Die Cast vehicles here.

Was recently curious about the new 1:18 Scale A-Team van coming soon from Hot Wheels, and stumbled onto this:

BBTS currently has it slated for 100 dollars or so.

I am hopeful that the price will come down, but Hot Wheels Die Cast tend to be pretty pricy yet nicely detailed.

I heard there was one made in Oz but now owned by a New Yorker. It takes some doing to get one done, as the Ford Falcon GT coupe was an Australian car, so you can't pop down to the local scrap yard to pick one up for an Interceptor project.

My thoughts on diecasts: Almost useless with figures, and the stuff i want is waaaaaaay too expensive.

I think you're looking at at least a C-note. I want to say retail was 140.

Dig the Max Rackitansky custom. Whats the recipe on him?

A lot.

Torso is P Snake Eyes, with lower right arm from (I think) Sgt Stone, with Airborne hands. Legs are Dr Lewis uppers with Viper lowers. Leg brace is scratch built from styrene and flex rex. Knife sheath is homemade from masking tape. Jacket is Mutt Williams from the Indy line. Head is from Imperial Knight Star Wars figure. Gear is from various places with the sawed off coming from Marauder.

Dog was one of those Michaels figures repainted with an added bandanna.

I think that's all of him.

Yeah mine was up there. I LOVE it but Joes certainly do not fit inside... unless you take their legs off.

Yeah, i didn't imagine they would, maybe a female, though? Anyone know how well the 1:15 BttFII Delorean fairs with figures? It should, being fucking huge and all.

I want to say one version of the Interceptor comes with the dog, too.

Nice photos of the Interceptor, Slither.

I am hopeful to get one of those someday, and would also like to get a 1:18 scale of the General Lee, Eddie.

The Ecto-1 in 1:18 is also coming soon from Hot Wheels.

Am hopeful to get these.

Currently don't have too many 1:18 scale vehicles from the movies, but I do have a 1:18 Die-Cast of the Dillorean from "Back To The Future," and also have a 1:24 scale Batmobile from the 1989 "Batman" film.

I wish they would make that Batmobile in true 1:18 scale, as it is my favorite of the Batman rides.

Pretty sure there is a 1:18 Burton Batmobile.

And like i said, that Ecto-1 has been out for years.

Thanks for posting that.

The "1:18 Batmobile" from the Keaton film is actually a 1:24 scale vehicle.

Juxtaposed with actual 1:18 vehicles, it is way too small.

The seats are comparably sized with 1:24 Die Cast cars and looks better with them.

You suck Soia! I saw that Hummer one time and thought it was cool, but had no use for it. Saw TF2 a day or two later and found my use, but of course it vanished for good.

Still waiting for my Autoart 1:18 Toyota FJ from ebay.

It sucks you can't fit a fig in it thou. Unless you chop of some legs. It also you looks like your real car.

I know it's not accurate, but the A-Team GMC would be a better Mystery Machine.

Behind a camera watching you!
1:18 Hot Wheels Ecto-1 now with the accompanying Ghostbusters. $275 is a hard pill to swallow to get a set of 1:18 Ghostbusters.
EE Hot Wheels set of diecast Ghostbusters with Ecto-1 for $275

Wish they weren't in the squatting possition like they were using the backwoods during a campout. When I break on this I plan to get the cheaper version & paint up a few wild Bills. (Hey the figures ain't going to fit in the car anyways so why put out the extra $$$$$)

If only Mattel would do the right thing here like they've been doing with the DCM line......
