$135 shipped. I was about to pull the trigger on Shadow Weaver but noticed that there weren't that many Fisto's online anymore. Someone even has him on Amazon for $400! I can't believe I paid that for a Masters figure but I'm just glad to have him in my collection. I wasn't about to pay more and sadly I don't see these going down in price either.

Oh and thanks to you Clawful is now on my shopping list too. I hadn't really looked him over until you posted about him... damn peer pressure.

I wish I could have gotten for that. The prices on these have really gone through the roof. I was hoping to find some on craigslist or elsewhere from people who didn't realize the demand of these damn things. Oh well, from what I've seen in video and heard in review it sounds like a great figure. Worth the price? Well if I think of it as an expensive dinner it is, at least the I can enjoy the figure the next day, where-as the dinner is just a memory or a bowel movement. :)

How can you compare the two? Grayskull is obviously a unique creation... blonde hair, duh. :)
And we all know Conan is strong.. but can he split a sword in two?

How do you like your Grayskull? I'm still pissed that I lost my SDCC version to a fire but still glad I hadn't opened it, I understand the ankles explode on the original. The re-release fixed that along with making his armor and cape removeable. I like the darker tone of the SDCC but at least the new one won't crap out when you display it. I've got mine chillin' with the TOD Sorceress, gotta have the ball and stand together you know!

I digging the King...though mines ankles are kinda loose...easy fix though...and I like the new coloring, just not white flocked shoulder portions...the dirtied up look of the SDCC version was more appealing IMO...

Personally, the classic look He-Man will always be my fave...followed up by Mossman

I think Shadow Weaver was the only one I wanted that I didn't get (obviously because she wasn't ever actually on sale). I passed on her multiple times @ $80, so I suppose that ship has sailed. I don't want any regular sized MOTU figure that badly. Maybe I'm just not hardcore enough, but I don't love MOTU so much that I must grossly overpay for stuff.

As a kid I hated, I mean HATED the cartoon. I had a few of the original mini comics and saw he-man more like Conan (yeah, I know) and thats the way I like him. The new comics however are warming me up to the whole "Adam" persona that I never cared for.

I think that new comic sucks. I loved the first series of mini comics and never cared for the whole Adam thing. I agree he's massively gay. This new comic is just BS shock value and poor writing, as is the fda with comics these days.

For me, 200X is everything I wanted from He-Man. Adam is bearable, all the characters get equal face time, there's good violence and only unimportant characters die.
I also like that He-Man really is the most powerful man in the Universe, but can still be beat, and often is.

Well, a new ongoing series has been announced, starting in April. Same writer, basically picking up where this one left off. The big bad from the last page comes to town.

Personally, I liked it.... a lot. I love that Teela knows the secret (as do Skeletor and all the Masters). It always bugged the crap out of me in a Lois Lane kinda way that she never figured it out. I really like flirty sarcastic Teela (blonde Teela FTW!).

And let's face it, the character that died rarely served a relevant purpose; so I was ok with it. 200X was a great toon, but for comics like this to remain interesting, things have to change, or at the very least the writers have to create the illusion of change. I'm not saying each issue need a death for shock purposes, but I like the idea that in this iteration nobody is safe, and anything can happen.

Keith Giffen is a very talented writer at DC, and I have faith that he'll spin some good yarns in the new title. I can't wait.

Any difference between the TRU figs and the ones only available by Matty? My son got a merman from TRU and the damn thing was twisted in the package and won't straighten. There was only one other and its foot was broken (in package). They did have a couple of the Stratos but I passed due to how poor merman was. Anyway, how are the Stratos figs? Perhaps I just saw a packaging error with the merman. I'm tempted to get a Stratos if its good shape

Hmm, after some google searches it appears that they don't. Evidently molded onto the figure. Bummer, I guess the biggest problem I had with Stratos being a bird guy is the lack of wings (sans the arms). Hmm, maybe a little mod might be in order and give Stratos the wings from hawkman.. just to give Buzzoff a run for his wingspan money

Yay! Just won a glass display cabinet super cheap on eBay big enough for Granamyr and the Wind Raider!

Hope to get a load more figures through trades this week as well!

I opened Demo Man last night. Fucking awesome character! Plus you get two bonus heads with him!



This guy is so awesome he has his own song. White Zombie's "Devilman". You just replace Devil with Demo, only pronounce it Demmo.
Oftentimes I just start blurting out the Demmo Man song. I even text "Demo man Demo man" to my friend. Sometime I say Demo Man is the evil master of demonstrations... like if anyone on Eternia has a problem with a mechanical item. Demo-man arrives and shows them how everything works as his song plays in the background.
