Anytime you guys got something to ask feel free to add it in this thread and we'll vote again like last time if that works for you all. I will end taking questions on 8/1 and put up a poll. It appears that POC is selling very well, when the new movie toys hit are you going to bumble and kill the POC line like the 25th/Resolute line was killed? And no BS about Joe cant support 2 lines. Star Wars and Transformers have multiple lines and those POS's pegwarm way more than Joes do you bastards.

POC is dead after these waves I believe Jim. Once the movie comes out they are going straight for that. As for the vehicles, they mentioned in one of the links I had in the answers thread that they won't invest in the larger vehicles. Personally, I'd be fine if they gave up vehicles. I'll just hoard PTE stuff when it finally hits. Hasbro just can't compare. I'd rather they give us a figure with good articulation and extra heads. Then, we can make the figure whoever the hell we want.

For the price of a PTE Humvee with extras I can get what? An AWE striker with a figure and it's still more? Screw that. I don't mind a little lead.

I am disappointed in the way Hasbro treats what could be the best selling toy line of the day as a second rate shit line.

GI JOE was so damn awesome back in the day because of the vehicles, playsets, and figures. They could still do that today, and they have the means, but they refuse to do it. Star Wars shows they could do it with pushing from Lucas.

With the right minds, they could market some killer shit that would appeal to both kids and collectors at the same time.

But they refuse to do it. And when they do find the right groove, they kill it and start something different that no one wants.

Thank you MB for filtering out questions hasbro has answered that people may not know (Like PoC being essentially dead), so we can get good questions that arnt rehashes hopefully!

I think Hasbro DOES care, but the line fills an odd niche right now, and probably does not sell the #'s that ANY licensed movie property sells, even crappy ones.

I'd love to be able to look at the books and see how many Iron Man 2 figures were sold (compared to all we see on the pegs etc) vs PoC/etc.

How do you compare the fan made customs to the bootlegs coming out from China, is there any problems with selling the bootlegs/repros,since there is no problems selling custom figures. How do you decide from bootleg or custom?

i think we should re-ask the questions about the extra heads being included, but word it like K-T does...call it "Duke" on the package to make retailers happy in the pants, put a Duke head on it, but make it look like Footloose and include a Footloose head as an excessory...

also, did the 7 packs that were suppossed to "complete a collection" question ever get asked?...i really want to know what in the heck happened to them...

Pretty sure multi packs are canned. I'll go through some Q&A's this weekend if I have time or if anyone else does shoot me a PM and I'll make an archive for our reference.

This next round we need to really pry. Vehicles have been hit by everybody. Movie questions are kind of out except maybe asking if the movie has to work around the figures or vice versa. That would interest me a little. Other than that they are kind of not giving us enough stuff to inquire about but SDCC will be right before they are due so that might give us some more material. Nice thing about here, we can at least vote on it unlike most of the places. That's what's nice about 12 active members that steal everyone's news.

BTW K-t your not gonna be seeing those skystrikers sitting on the shelves(unless those pte su-27's make it of course), I'm personally planning on buying 12 of them(damn decal variants!!!). BTW does anybody know if it is four additional decal sets, or the opriginal and 3 extras?

I'm not sure about sticker variations. Don't say you're buying that many either. It will cause a storm 'round here. For the price of that many you could have a pimp JSI bird. It's the quantity or quality issue. I don't think the Striker will really sit for the most part but I'm also wondering how many they may make. They have the SDCC one and the regular so it has to be worth the time they put in to build the mold.

If NSA and I are at SDCC I'm sure we'll work on grilling as much as we can. There are a few different companies we need to interrogate heavily.

1.) Stop releasing nothing but Duke, Storm Shadow, Snake Eyes, Destro and Cobra Commander every 2 weeks. Just about everyone can assure you that this stuff is only going to continue to rot on the pegs in all their dust covered glory.

2.) Release Thrasher, 1LT Colton, Muskrat, Footloose, Zandar, Tomax, Xamot, Frostbite, Sky Patrol, Night Force, etc with modern uniforms and equipment as was the case with POC Snake Eyes, and intersperse them in waves of 6-8 figures each. Release Frag Viper, SAW Viper, Green Shirt GI Joe Soldier and other nifty Army builders throughout these new waves as 6 Army builder figures per case, with 6 original characters mixed in.

3.) Admit the truth about Rise of Cobra being a total disaster due largely to Obamanista politics and other Internationalist worldviews, and stop punishing the entire GI Joe line and its fan-base over it. Get back to what works: American patriotism.

4.) Consider a hybrid of Transformers and GI Joe toys. An AWE Striker that transforms into an Autobot, a HISS Tank that transforms into a Decepticon, etc... Try to do them in 1:18 scale if possible, so that it can accommodate other GI Joe and Cobra figures.

Who wants a leopard print f-14 anyway? I'm still not sure how many I get(hence why I said planning on getting, I just really regret that I only bought one x-30 and no rattlers a few years back ). If the su-27 or J-10 make it here I'll only get one of each plus an extra for a custom. Please interrogate the companies special forces style(as in screw the rules of engagement and geneva convention). You get better info that way

Since apparently PoC will end when RoC 2 comes along, I'll direct my questions that way (hopefully to get ahead of the production curve a bit):

1.) Can we please not have all the Joe and Cobra figures for the RoC2 line wearing black uniforms? How about some nice modern camo patterns/modernized weapons and equipment (like PoC)? Oh, and without the Happy Meal-esque spring loaded uberlaunchers, or neon...

2.) Can we please have some significantly better vehicles for RoC2? Those were a huge disappointment in the RoC1 line (particularly the first wave). Movie vehicles should not be rehashed or lame modifications from earlier lines. Why not make fewer, properly scaled vehicles, actually from the movie like a properly scaled Dragonfly (Apache), Tomahawk (Osprey), and VAMP (Cougar MRAP) rather than the poorly executed, undersized and/or rehashed Happy Meal toys that we got?

3.) Can you please try to brainstorm some creativity into the character and vehicle designs for the movie this time around (maybe steal some talent from the teams that made the Iron Man movies and the A Team perhaps)?

4.) Can we please have way less Duke, Snake Eyes, Cobra Commander and Storm Shadow and a lot more variety this time around? Has this been asked before?

MB, if you decide to use any of these, feel free to tone down the cynicism/sacrasm a little bit to make them a tad more cordial, as not to get us completely blacklisted...

I honestly would rather have one of the JSI ones, but it just isn't practical for me(although if they make the su-27/j-11 then bring it on!! I'll find a way to get that one!). I have a fairly large fleet of flaggs(don't ask me how or why, and I will be getting another one soon, I've got some issues ) so it doesn't make sense to have one large jet without a spot to put it when I can have many more small ones with plenty of deck space to put them on(although I'll be lucky if I can get 2 of those flaggs setup. I may do it so one is on the floor, the next on a shelf above it and then another on a 4 by 8 sheet of blue foam(closest I could get to water) on top of two display cases and that would get me 3 of them set up). And yeah most joe collectors do say the'll buy a ton of something then never do. I've honestly done that a few times myself, although that was do to unemployment.

Skystriker - I'd pick it up on deep clearance if I ever see one, simply for the sake of nostalgia and if my son ever takes to Joes. It'll probably show up at Marshalls or Ross or somesuch (hopefully along with the Vamp that comes with the Steel Brigade Driver). Will I hang it with my BBi's? I was reading some sites about the website that dude runs and that POS is effin' beautiful. What a class act. One site said they had to pick him up because he has so many DUI's he doesn't have a car.
