That's why I won't start collecting MOTUC or TMNT or Ghostbusters. But damn do I want those lines! Honestly, I'd be much more picky with MOTUC. I'd get only the early classic ones. Hell, I don't even know who the fuck 3/4 of those guys are. I never realized there were so many MOTU characters, especially the big ones like that giant-ass dragon dude.

Yeah, any character they trot out that was originally introduced after 1984, and I've got no clue who they are and there is a 75% chance I won't be getting them. Every once in a while they come out with something neat looking that I'll pick up (like Griffin or some random snake guys).

Granamyr was actually a very early mini-comic character from 1983. Back then he was green. Then he was later adapted into a filmation character where they made him red/pink. I don't recall the 'toon version, but I'll never forget the intro version.

That was my first intro to Granamyr as well. The Filmation more or less followed the story of the mini comic. I don't know half of the newer figures from the MOTUC line and took some research to learn more. Matty had been more or less trying to combine all years of he-man (minicomic, filmation and 200x) into one big storyline. For me He-man will always be the way he was portrayed in the original run of minicomics, no Prince Adam. I never could stand the Filmation version but I understand that those that do either never cared for the original introduction or the prince adam version was their first taste of the series.

Anyway, I'm still hoping for a Granamy and just might have to go the secondary route so if I have to replace it, it would be covered.

Thats one reason I'm trying to get a 3d printer of my own, just bypass the commercial cost like shapeways and get the cheapest deal possible. I'm looking at two currently one can do the quality seen in thos motu accessories and the other (more expensive) can do unreal detail and the stuff is built from resin. If this goes through and I get enough 3d files I could print stuff for MOTU or even joe weapons with incredible detail.

Those ^^^ dio shots are insane!...beautiful!...I don't know who he is, but I want him!...along with a lot of other figures I saw in a YouTube SDCC 2012 video of MOTU...

I want Ram Man but KNOW he will be impossible to get, for a reasonable price...

Ah! I had that mini-comic! I remember that cover now! I always hated it when there would be characters without figures.

I can recognize most of the early MOTU stuff, because the characters are iconic, and I had some later year MOTU figures, but I probably only had ones made from 1982-1986, since I had moved onto other stuff by the time I was 4-5, since I don't honestly remember THAT much about He-Man. I couldn't tell you what their voices sounded like if it wasn't for YouTube and Robot Chicken, but Transformers, TMNT, GI Joe, Thundercats, Ghostbusters... I remember those cartoons much more clearly.

Stratos' neck is cracked open :(

Gonna use the Star Sister for a custom. Woop! My first MotUC custom is underway!

BTW, does anyone have a set of Mer Man weapons to trade? Any set will do - single pack, 2 pack or weapons pak. Just need the trident and sword, not the armour.

where did you get these from? I haven't heard of any qc issues with a stratos, but this is from the double pack from toyrus isn't it? I heard those are quite up to snuff with the directs product.

I got Stratos from China cheap, so hopefully I'll get a replacement.

I dunno what line the mini Draego-Man is from. He might just be a knockoff wrestler. His head sculpt is super sharp though. I remember buying him to headswap onto a vintage MotU figure way back when lol.

Yeah, that's what I did at first, then I started to appreciate Demo Man more especially after i saw the 200X ep where Hordak essentially turned melty face Keldor into full on Skeletor. Though Demo Man is neither shown or mentioned in that sequence, the retcon totally fits, and explains Skelly's more demonic body features.

I got my Granamyr and Castlegrayskull man yesterday.

My Granamyr was perfect in every way. I heated up the sockets before assembly and evrything went together fine. I was so worried I'd get a shitter, but I thought I'd really like him if mine was ok.
Turns out I am in awe of him now. Just an awesome and epic figure.
I don't even mind the lack of ball shoulders/ torso.

Also love CGM as well. One of my favourite figures now!

I was at college the other day selecting a tenon saw to cut wood. Found one with CGM scribed in it. I used it; it cut like a dream lol.

Plus there's a guy on the desk opposite me called Jack Mossman.

Coincidence? I don't think so.

Plus there's an ugly ass chick there who looks like Hordak.
