    That sucks. I wish there was an effective way to crack the lower torso open, much like there is for the upper torso. I tried one too and it did much like what you described yours as doing.

    LOL. I hear ya. I did get the original one cuz of the Cobra card, if I didn't already have that, I prolly would get one. I ordered one for Blood's bitchass :)

    I worked on Thrasher some more last night. I added the straps going from the front the the back of his chest armor. I was hesitant to add the straps b/c I wasn't sure on how to go about doing them. I don't really care for the way the straps are connected on the back of the original figure, so I improvised. I didn't have time to take and post pictures as it was late when I finished.

    I also did another Tunnel Rat head similar to the one I made before to send into SDS, and put the arm band around Torch's left arm like the original figure has as well. I don't think I'm going to do Torch's neck band as I don't think it's going to look right, but I might give it a shot.

    Oh great... I didn't think about having to paint the eyes underneath the bill of the hat. I still haven't received my Cutter head yet, but Dave said it's on the way.

    Talked to Dave about casting the torso, and it looks like I'll have to sculpt the lower part of the torso again... I don't even know how to crack the lower part of a torso open w/out warping or breaking it. So, I'm not sure if Thrasher's torso is going to be cast in plastic glory or not...

    and i do indeed have a CL, so use yours to fix SS...i used a LT to fix mine long ago...

    hmmm...i kinda liked the face tats...glad they toned down the pink...glad they kept the yellow hair...its a nice subtle update as were the tattoos :(

    Yeah, I'm not sure why they're doing that either. I'm getting a few of the classic figures so that I can keep one as is and use another for a custom. I plan on using the the legs and arms with KREXX's torso and figuring something out for a Sunbow movie accurate head (much like Novascream's masterpiece).

    A lot of people will probably think it sacrilegious of me to use one for a custom, but I have to make one like I want it. lol

    I haven't tried to transform it, but it passes the eyeball test. Looks really nice. I'll be anxious to get your take on it when you get back!

    Got my Ramjet yesterday. Looks fantastic. Even the box is more masterpiece-like than I'd imagined. They did a nice job.

    seriously, we don't get jack sh!t in my area...either there are LOTS of other collectors round here, or distribution sucks REALLY bad...i've started to rely on e-tailers almost exclusively for things i REALLY want...and the things i kinda want, i tell myself, if i see them in stores, i'll get em, if not, eh well

    Well mine only showed one item, but my order only had one item, i.e. the set. But yes, the first jet was supposed to ship alone, and looking at the weight, it likely is just one of the three.

    Awesome! I got a shipping email as well today (it was hard to read, as it was in raw html code... very odd) So I didn't know if all of them shipped or just one of the three. Either way, I'm excited!

    Thanks, Rex! I found it when you linked your alley dio...so I listed you as the one who referred me. Seems like a cool place. The only place I usually post on most any board is in the customs area...and this place rocks dios which is what I want to try out - so my shelves are coll displays not just lined up figs. :D

    and that cooler is a must have...it'd be so cool filler with mini ice cubes and sodas/beers
