Battlefield: Bad Company 2

Verdict!

I have to say that I am currently enjoying the heck out of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. I can be found playing on Xbox Live almost every night (Gamertag: NSA). The teamwork that this game inspires is downright awesome, and there are moments in this game that simply cannot be replicated anywhere else (Firing a rocket blindly at an enemy, only to have it miss him but hit the building support strut behind him and take down the whole base!).

The graphics are good, not great, though the sheer size of some of the maps makes other games seem tiny in comparison (I’m looking at you Modern Warfare 2). The sound effects are top notch, and there is even a sound mode called “War Tapes” that eliminates the background music and amps up all the explosions, it’s intense. I equally enjoy the controls and interface, everything works adequately and gets the job done.

I give this game a solid A-.

The single player was a little bit of a let down, though it was kind of short, it was certainly entertaining. The multiplayer really shines, and I imagine this game will stay in my Xbox drive for months to come because of it.
