I think with the right background and some actual effort this might be a great one-shot idea.

That's too cool...kinda reminds of the giant sized aliens in Prometheus...not in looks, just the extra large size...

He's probably around the same height as the NECA Engineer figures.

He's gettin' there. I need to redo the tuft of "fur" on the tail. It looks more like a turd, currently. :(

Thanks to you! Didn't even have to make a handle for it.

Gonna make some kind of offer on that Deadpool? ;)

Did you hand paint that?!...no way in hell!...the image is identicle on each half and the circles are perfect and the zigzag pattern is also perfect...

No, no. Some faceless Chinese worker ran it through a tampo machine. It's from the Revoltech skeleton.

I have hand painted the olive onto my Captain America shield. I guess I need to find some arms and legs and get WWII Capt. done, eh?

Still want to see that turret on a proper, non-Hasbro chassis.

If I can find the right chassis I might do it.

Type 98 would be my choice. It's large enough to look good, but not so much so that it'll look terrible with the lil' baby Joescale turret.

I'd probably change the missile tubes, and perhaps the gun barrels, while I was at it.

Probably for the best. I wonder how it'd look on the APC? Probably not big enough. Too bad you can't get a Bravo Team Abrams for $20.

Another thought is that Soldier Force missile truck from TRU. . .
Also I thought somebody mounted it to a Rolling Thunder a while back???
Again if I had a spare that is another I'd love to do, I've got the RT on standby. . .

I have a strange affinity for the Retaliation wave one Cobra Trooper. I got these guys when they were on clearance, there was no way they were worth $10. Despite Hasbro's bullshit price gouging, I kind of liked these guys. Despite their gimped articulation, you can still pose them in some basic poses because they're sculpted well enough. They can even shoulder rifles like a proper soldier should, something that several Joe figures have a hard time doing, especially ones with the over rated shock trooper arms and torso. The bright colors, and lack of movie accuracy pretty much killed these figures. Maybe they'd better compliment my Hazard viper as hazardous environment escorts.

Also, random brain is random.

Why is there a brain in the background?

And actually you make them look pretty good.

I like certain elements of the Cobra Trooper, but you lost me with that bullshit about the Shock Trooper arms being overrated.

They are overrated. They don't bend well enough. You have to shave them down a little bit before you can get them to pose as well as the arms from everyone's favorite version of Snake Eyes, which is still being reused today with the DG Ship Wrecks.

Why is there a brain in the background?

Thanks. The brain is a stress ball that I found laying around the old college a year or two ago. These days it bounces from desk to desk and currently resides at the stair case where all my Joes currently are.

I'm really digging Brunhilde here. I'm surprised how many Joe webbings actually kind of work on hr big Teutonic ass.

So a long time ago last year I said I was working on a stop motion project. I never finished it, I had to scrap it it. The AC was broke, there wasn't a whole lot of room in the house to film what I wanted, the lighting wasn't working out the way I needed it to, I was filming on the floor which turned out to be rather back breaking labor to do, and the storyboard in my head had to be changed over and over again, and eventually I had to focus on school again. It was a project that was a little too ambitious to be restricted to the floor on the corner of the room, with only one week of spring break to complete filming. By summer, my stuff got shuffled around, and a lot of the featured figures got recycled for kit bashes and head swaps. I did manage to recover some footage though, so I decided that I should post it anyway.

Heh...that stop motion was actually pretty cool...I liked when the dude slid down the hill...and the low lighting was a nice effect...

After failing to negotiate with a terrorist with a snake fetish threatening to shoot people's dicks off, Bull-horn and Sci-Fi find themselves on the ground, forever dickless.

Bullhorn: "MY DICK! MY DIIIIiiiiick!"

Low-Light: "Hang in there, you're going to be just fine"

Sci-Fi: "W-Why weren't you on overwatch?!"

These two figures had damaged crotches.
