Yep, Google "Gary Goggles"

He's a celebrity! I always thought the goggles were functional. They seem to be some stupid Steampunk something-or-another, though. I think? I dunno.

Isn't he the one where someone here found his facebook or myspace or some bullshit where he had pics of himself in tighty whities dry-humping his stove?

Nobody found those pics of m… I mean, what?

It was before the crush I think, but I remember clicking a link here and it was my first lesson in 'never click a link on the 118th'. I KNOW it was Gyre, my memory thankfully won't allow me to recall where the pics were, though. It was horrifying.

Oh that Hisstank drama.

So what is everyone's thoughts on the Half-Orc concept for post Greek Myth stuff?

It's neat, but they ought to just add it to the stretch goals instead of going "Oh hey look! Here's the cool stuff if you buy all these repaints first!"

I think it's pretty cool. I'm sure they have a huge list of figures they want to produce.

I'm hoping for some type of tradition looking medieval stuff when they get into their fantasy line.

Paying Mattel licensing fees?

Jesus H fucking Christ. They'd only have the money left to make 5poA figures.

It is none of my concern if they make a profit or not (this is a charity after all, right? :D), I just want a freaking (AWESOME) 1:18th MOTU line gosh dang it!...and looking at their style, they'd do an amazing job at it...

I dunno, other than they've made a character intimated to be the product of interspecies rape...He looks alright. I don't know that I'm interested in "D&D Genre" figures, but maybe by the time the first wave for these is prototyped, I'll have 4H skeletons and knights in-hand and will be more amenable to the idea.

Of course they could already have this planned... but I have to wonder, why not just make a straight-out Orc to begin with?

Although... you could swap parts or paint it and have a decent looking barbarian/dragon slayer type.

I'm sure it's because a half-orc uses existing parts and won't require additional tooling.

Yeah looks the the torso (chest and abdomen) and the entire arms would use the same tooling as the Basic body seen on the blanks and Spartan.

Oh, I got that. However, take a look at the lower right writing in the Orc pic. It mentions using parts from an assortment 2 "Mage".

Either way, I like it for what it is.

I wish they'd just concentrate on a small group of first figures and worry about all the repaints and swaps later.

Wow.....one person went for the "get your mug on a figure" investment. Crazy thing is that it is not due until December of 2015! If I dropped that amount of scratch I would hope they could expedite the service just a bit since everything else is tooled.

Hell of a wait. Then again, I'm not one that desires to be made into an action figure.

Offered them $3000 for 300 Spartans. But they didn't think there was enough profit in that.

Well they keep saying they are fans and not making much from this.

What is the 300 go for? $4500? And what kind of set up are you planning with that?!

That would really be one of the coolest things that would be made. As much as I am not a fan of these figures I would like to see something like that.

Speaking of Greek mythology... :D

haha 100% accurate!

I am really looking forward to these figs!
I am thinking to do my first outdoor shooting with these figs! Athenian and spartan warriors with Parthenon as background!

Who knows I may convince the tourist shops in Greece to carry this line...

With these parts one could make Xena (and Calisto) from the parts with only the heads being the main work.

I can see myself making some Argonauts along with Jason (throw in MU Hercules).

You could easily use the Narnia Minotaur, Satyr and Fan with these...

Wow. That is kind of disappointing. Figured they would sculpt something that could go with other lines. That looks more likea suit than an android.
