All in all, despite it’s many and varied flaws in my opinion, it boasts a fairly strong sculpt. Buckles and straps are well-defined throughout, and you get wrinkles and folds in the fabric that make it all the more real. The strap for the quiver, while it’s part of the mold, almost looks separate from the rest of the body. The jacket itself almost seems to be removable, and it’s unfortunate that it’s not, because that would help redeem this figure. The gloves are well sculpted, but it only serves to highlight the lack of articulation that we get into later.
Even better, this sculpt makes the appearance of being sleeveless look a little more natural. Usually, making a figure sleeveless looks unnatural and unfinished, so thankfully this figure appears more complete.
And yes, he actually does bear a striking resemblance to Jeremy Renner. They did a good job with that.
“Do people say I look like Jeremy Renner? Yeah, I get that a lot.”
As a side note, you CAN remove the quiver from his back, though it leaves a gaping keyhole shape behind.
“It’s only a flesh wound.”
